I have been fortunate to be involved in dogs for most of my life. In 1968, after what seemed like forever, I was able to earn enough money to buy my first showdog from Cherokee Oaks Kennels in California. "Johnny" a Boxer, was my first dog to train and title. Since that time my life has revolved around dogs. Training, breeding, showing and competing in most aspects of dog sports. Currently I and my husband are K9 handlers for Pacific Crest Search Dogs, a search and rescue team in Washington State.
Pepperhaus Kennels was established in 1981. Committed to producing Rottweilers of excellent temperament, health and structure as well as a high degree of willingness to work with their owners. We have been blessed to have had so many fantastic owners help our puppies reach their full potential;
We bred the #1 Rottweiler in the USA in 2000;

We bred the first 1st Rottweiler AKC Dual Champion (Conformation and Herding);
Htch DC Pepperhaus Nixe UD, HX, HXAsd, HXBsd,HRDIIIs, HTDIIId, OA, OAJ, BH, CGC, WD, VX, C/HA.
Other accomplished Pepperhaus kids include;

Many Pepperhaus dogs have achieved Top Ten status in breed, obedience, herding, weight pulling, rally and agility. It has been a pleasure to watch so many of you compete in the various dog sports. We are extremely proud of our pups that have gone on to shining careers as successful Search and Rescue dogs. But most importantly, Pepperhaus Rottweilers have always been family members and well-loved companions.
We would like to thank all the wonderful owners of our pups over the past 30 years. Without all their hard work the many titles would not have been attained. We have enjoyed the many stories and pictures of the Pepperhaus kids being in the middle of some family activity. We are very proud of you for making sure your pups were well-mannered citizens that reflected well on our breed.

2011 brings a new chapter in our lives. Our involvement with Search & Rescue has led us down a slightly different path with our dogs. As we continue to work with our Rottweilers in Air Scent Wilderness and Human Remains Detection, we saw the need for a more natural trailing dog. Building on old foundations, Boulder Creek Bloodhounds was born. With the same high expectations we have for our Rottweilers, we are committed to producing high drive, sound, working Bloodhounds, bred for what they are meant to be... manhunters.
